Exxon Mobil and Chevron, two US-based companies, also showed interest in Mexico's bid Round One in the energy sector. The crude production opening to private companies caught the attention of several global companies. Recently, Colombian companies Ecopetrol, Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) and Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB) manifested their interest in exploring the Mexican energy sector. In addition, Mexican companies announced their interest in this bid Round One. (see related radars)

Dos empresas estadounidenses, Exxon Mobil y Chevron, han sumado su interés para participar en las licitaciones de México en el sector energético. La apertura de la producción de crudo a empresas privadas ha llamado la atención de numerosas empresas mundiales. Recientemente, las empresas colombianas Ecopetrol, Empresas Públicas de Medellín (EPM) y Empresa de Energía de Bogotá (EEB) también han comunicado su interés en la explotación del sector energético en México.
