Government of Mexico plans auction of nine oil fields

In Ronda Uno's second phase, Ministry of Energy of Mexico will auction nine oil fields in five contracts of hydrocarbons exploration in shallow waters. The last auction was launched on 11 December 2014. This new one will imply an estimated investment of USD 4.48bn, over the next three years. The nine fields are located on Tabasco and Campeche coast, southeast of Mexico. The area is 281 km2.

En la segunda fase de la Ronda Uno, la Secretaría de Energía de México licitará nueve campos en cinco contratos para la extracción de hidrocarburos aguas someras. Después de la subasta lanzada el 11 de diciembre del 2014, esta licitación supondrá una inversión estimada de USD 4.478m, repartidos en los próximos tres años. Estos nueve campos se encuentran en las costas de los estados de Tabasco y Campeche, en el sureste de México. La superficie que se licitará es de 281 kilómetros cuadrados. |
